RESEARCH ON INGREDIENTS
Fruit Acids are derived from a wide range of fruits such as sugar cane (glycolic acid), apples and pears (malic acid), oranges and lemons (citric acid), and grapes (tartaric acid) . These alpha hydroxy acids are used because they penetrate skin and help to exfoliate dead skin cells that sit on the skin’s uppermost surface, leaving newer and healthier skin cells to show through. Fruit acids help to stimulate collagen and elastin production, as well as reduce the appearance of wrinkles, decrease skin pigmentation, improve the appearance of sun damaged skin and reduce skin roughness leading to smoother, softer skin.
Papaya Extract is an enzyme in the fruit called papain, and helps to remove impurities and slough away dead skin cells. This effective, nonabrasive exfoliant also aids in helping to reduce acne spots, scars and sun damage.
Blackcurrant seed oil is rich in fatty acids and has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and nti-oxidative properties that help fight against a number of skin issues and keep the skin hydrated, firmer and younger looking skin.
