RESEARCH ON INGREDIENTS
White Tea extract from the Camellia sinensis plant’s leaves, keeps skin looking young by protecting it from damage. Research shows that the antioxidants reduce oxidative stress to the skin that cause wrinkles and uneven pigmentation. White Tea protects lipid production and helps strengthen the lipids of the epidermis and it contributes to the oxygenation of the skin and delays the appearance of wrinkles and the loss of firmness.
Cranberry Extract is high in antioxidants and loaded with polyphenols that are able to combat free radicles that can age the skin prematurely and lead to fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and the breakdown of collagen. Rich in vitamins A, E and C help to boost collagen production, fight free radicals, protect the skin from UV damage and strengthen the skin’s barrier system by preventing water loss.
Pueraria lobata Root extract is used for its ‘rejuvenation’ effect on mature skin as it aids in firming sagging skin and it increases cell turgidity (firmness). Studies show it to have 100 times the antioxidant activity of Vitamin E and improves the amount of tropocollagen found in skin which increases collagen production. It also has been noted to shrink pore size.
